Purpose:
Sells new and used agricultural equipment to new and existing customers.

Essential Functions:
o Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
o Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
o Represents the company for the sale of agricultural machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
o Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially sell-able by the dealership.
o Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
o Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
o Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
o Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
o Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o 1+ years of retail sales experience.
o Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and the internet.
o Ability to use the dealer�s business system and other programs specific to the position.
o Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
o Excellent customer relationship skills.
o Familiar with John Deere and competitive products desired.
o High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
o Valid driver's license.

Purpose:
Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment, turf equipment, and vehicles.

Essential Functions:
o Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
o Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
o Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
o Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
o Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
o Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
o Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
o Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
o Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
o Fundamental level of knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership.
o Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions, including the internet.
